We Are Not Defenseless You and I
-- "The Universe did not put us here defenseless. We
are each given minds with a capacity to look over the smorgasbord
of possibilities. We are provided with senses. Indeed, we
are magnificent SENSORS, so we can experience any environment
we find ourselves in. What a responsibility this places
on us. We decide to either remain as we are or adjust our
course. We are not defenseless, you and I."
Life is Not a Spectator Sport -- "I am a participant,
not a spectator. I know what I believe and what I don't
believe, as a result of really participating in life. I
treat people very well. The biggest change I have made over
the years is that I learned to treat me very well, too.
It has made a major difference in my inner peace and joy.
I no longer wait for someone else to do something for me
and then feel hurt when they don't come through. If something
is very important to me, I make sure that I make it happen
in my life. It sets me and everyone else in my life free."
It's the Questions -- "It's the questions that
help us to evolve and grow. It is being willing to wonder
that offers us hope. What holds us back on a planetary level
are those who think or pretend they know everything. Do
any of us really know the ultimate answers? How often have
"sure things" been proven wrong, given time and
new information? It will always be from a place of love
and open mindedness that seeds of life will grow and bloom
in this world. We must all be faithful gardeners, open to
the best ways to cultivate all living things."
Shedding My Skin Again and Again -- "Having
fun transforming me again and again. I read and read. I
listen and listen., I act upon my new ideas. One day I wake
up and I look behind me and see the skin of the old me.
I have created myself anew once again. This game of life
can be a lot of fun, if I'm true to myself and go about
my business of recreating me, while being respectful of
others on the path.
